申命记 24:16
24:16 不可因子杀父，也不可因父杀子；凡被杀的都为本身的罪。
以西结书 18:19-22
18:19 你们还说：‘儿子为何不担当父亲的罪孽呢？’儿子行正直与合理的事，谨守遵行我的一切律例，他必定存活。
18:20 惟有犯罪的，他必死亡。儿子必不担当父亲的罪孽，父亲也不担当儿子的罪孽。义人的善果必归自己，恶人的恶报也必归自己。
18:21 恶人若回头离开所作的一切罪恶，谨守我一切的律例，行正直与合理的事，他必定存活，不至死亡。
18:22 他所犯的一切罪过都不被记念，因所行的义，他必存活。
约翰一书 1:9
1:9 我们若认自己的罪， 神是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义；

16Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin.
Ezekiel 18:19-22 (NIV)
19“Yet you ask, ‘Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live.
20The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.
21“But if a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die.
22None of the offenses he has committed will be remembered against him. Because of the righteous things he has done, he will live.
