事谢恩，因为这是　神在基督耶稣里向你们所定的旨意。 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

人若知道行善，却不去行，这就是他的罪了。 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

1:7　监督既是　神的管家，必须无可指责，不任性、不暴躁、不因酒滋事、不打人、不贪无义之财； 1:8　乐意接待远人，好善、庄重、公平、圣洁、自持； 7Since an overseer is entrusted with God’s work, he must be blameless–not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. 8Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.

还有未了的话，愿弟兄们都喜乐。要作完全人。要受安慰。要同心合意。要彼此和睦。如此仁爱和平的神，必常与你们同在。 Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

耶稣对他们说：“来，跟从我！我要叫你们得人如得鱼一样。” “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
