2:15 若是弟兄或是姐妹，赤身露体，又缺了日用的饮食，
2:16 你们中间有人对他们说，“平平安安地去吧！愿你们穿得暖吃得饱”，却不给他们身体所需用的，这有什么益处呢？
2:17 这样，信心若没有行为就是死的。
2:26 身体没有灵魂是死的，信心没有行为也是死的。
启示录 3:1-6
3:1 你要写信给撒狄教会的使者说：‘那有 神的七灵和七星的说：我知道你的行为，按名你是活的，其实是死的。
3:2 你要警醒！坚固那剩下将要衰微的（注：“衰微”原文作“死”），因我见你的行为，在我 神面前，没有一样是完全的。
3:3 所以要回想你是怎样领受，怎样听见的，又要遵守，并要悔改。若不警醒，我必临到你那里，如同贼一样。我几时临到，你也决不能知道。
3:4 然而在撒狄，你还有几名是未曾污秽自己衣服的；他们要穿白衣与我同行，因为他们是配得过的。
3:5 凡得胜的，必这样穿白衣，我也必不从生命册上涂抹他的名，且要在我父面前和我父众使者面前认他的名。
3:6 圣灵向众教会所说的话，凡有耳的，就应当听！’
James 2:14-17, James 2:26 (NIV)
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?
15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food.
16If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
Revelation 3:1-6 (NIV)
1“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
2Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God.
3Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
4Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
5He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.
6He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
